Santa Dash!

All of the boys and girls took part in our Santa Dash today! We had lots of fun!

Première of the 1st Class Christmas Plays!

As if we didn't have enough work to be doing in Junior Infants, we got asked to attend the première of the 1st Class Christmas Plays today!

We don't want to give much away but they are incredible shows and the audience tonight will be in for a treat! From aliens to snowmen to penguins to the nativity, these plays have got something for everyone! (And we are tough critics!)

Our principal also commended us on how well we behaved throughout both shows. Really good listening and critiquing! If only every class level could take a leaf out of the Junior Infants book! 😇

We can't wait until the day comes when we will be taking part in the Christmas play! 🎄

Visit to the Post Office

Junior Infants went on a trip to the Post Office. We saw how our letters get sorted and how they get delivered to us. We even posted our letters to Santa!

Santa's Workshop!

We can't even imagine what it's like in the real North Pole as Santa's Workshop has been hectic in Room 1,2,3&4!

Between Santa getting stuck in the chimney, Rudolph injuring his hoof and Mrs.Claus forgetting to save the word document on her computer of Santa's list, it has been pure chaos!

We're also not sure if this elf has been helping to build toys in Santa's workshop or in the kitchen tasting all of Mrs.Claus' tasty cookies!

Bedtime Story Night in School!

We had a bed time story night in school tonight! It was very strange going back into school at 7pm in our pyjamas! Even some of our teachers were wearing pyjamas! Crazy! Our teachers read a story to us and then we got to pick a book and our grown ups read a story to us. It was lots of fun.

We love reading in Junior Infants!



We then got some hot chocolate with marshmallows and it was delicous!

Assembly

Room 1 and Room 4 were taking part in the school assembly today. They sang songs and told the other classes about Winter time.
