The queue at the check-in desk is getting long. We really need some more staff at our airport. All the children were still very happy to be jetting off somewhere new.

More than, less than

We have been working really hard on some very tricky maths language. We are really good at knowing when a set has more or less but we have been practising 'how many more' a set has. At first, it was really confusing because we thought teacher was asking 'how many altogether?'. But we learned how to do it with lots of practice and different strategies from our friends. Take a look!

Travel and Transport

This month we are learning about travel and transport. We have learned about modes of travel on land, on sea and in the air. We always use what we learn in our play. Take a look at some of the photos below.

Here we have a very long aeroplane made by Muhammad. He came up with this idea by himself and organised all of the things he needed to create an aeroplane. He showed me the parts of the aeroplane including the tail, the nose, the wings, the windows and the engines. Isn't it fantastic?

Here we have some lovely hot air balloons. The children designed their own using a variety of resources. They decided what they needed and organise it all by themselves. So creative.😀

Check out some more designs below:

Next, we have some photos from on board our class aircraft. The children made their own aeroplane, complete with the pilot. They have been going on lots of adventures to Japan, Lithuania, France and the U.K.

Some passengers brought their children.

The in-flight entertainment is world class!
Unfortunately, one passenger was exhausted from all of the international travel.

The flight attendant is working very hard preparing the meals for all of the passengers on board!

We are having wonderful fun on this theme.
